Definition

Conciliation is a process in the legal environment of human resources and labor relations where a neutral third party assists employers and employees in resolving disputes and reaching an agreement. It is aimed at improving communication, understanding both parties' perspectives, and negotiating a mutually beneficial solution without proceeding to formal litigation.
