we covered the beginning of agricultural practices and their developments overtime. The first revolution started after the end of the last ice age due to changes in clime. Agricultural practices are effected by availability of resources, cultural practices, physical environment, and climate conditions. Some hearths of domestication include fertile crescent, Indus River Valley, Southeast Asia, and Central America. Agriculture falls into two main categories: Intensive and extensive agriculture. Intensive agriculture requires lots of labor and it is focused on small plot of land, while extensive agriculture requires limited labor input and is spread across large areas of land. Von Thunen model is one of the economical models in Ap Human Geography course. The model associated the cost of transportation of goods to the distance a business is located away from the main market.
