Measures of Development

When we talk about different countries around the world, we typically categorize each one by their “development” - a measure of the material condition of their inhabitants. In this live stream, we identify differences in levels of development, and investigate the ways that supranational organizations quantify each country’s development through various scales like the Human Development Index.
