Mission Creep
Definition
Mission creep refers to the tendency of a project or mission to expand beyond its initial goals, often after initial success.
Analogy
Think of mission creep like a snowball rolling down a hill. It starts off small and focused, but as it rolls downhill, it picks up more snow and gets bigger and bigger, straying from its original size and shape.
