African Slaves

Definition

Africans who were captured and sold into slavery during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. They were forced into labor in plantations and mines across the Americas.

Analogy

Imagine being drafted onto a sports team against your will - you're taken away from your home, family & friends without any say-so. Now imagine this scenario but much worse - that's what happened with African slaves.
