Fighting for Freedoms

Definition

This term refers to individuals or groups advocating for and taking action towards gaining civil liberties and rights which they believe they are entitled to but have been denied.

Analogy

Imagine you're at an all-you-can-eat buffet but there's a rule saying you can only eat salads while others enjoy everything else. Fighting for freedoms is like standing up against this rule so everyone has equal access to all dishes on offer.
