Definition

In psychology, reproduction refers to our ability to recreate mental images or concepts from memory.

Analogy

Imagine your mind as an artist’s studio. The paintings are memories or learned behaviors. Reproduction would be like being able to paint an exact copy of one of those paintings from memory alone.

Recall: This term refers to retrieving previously learned information from memory without any cues or prompts - just like painting that picture without looking at it!
