Group Therapy

Definition

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where one or more therapists treat a small group of clients together as a group. It can be used to help people dealing with similar issues feel less alone in their struggles.

Analogy

Group therapy is like being part of a book club. Everyone reads the same book (or has similar problems), discusses it together under guidance (the therapist), learns from each other's perspectives, and supports each other through shared experiences.
