Entropy

Definition

Entropy is a measure of the randomness or disorder in a system. In the context of thermodynamics, entropy refers to the tendency of energy to disperse and become less organized.

Analogy

Imagine a messy room where everything is scattered around chaotically. The higher the entropy, the more disordered and random things are in the room.
