Transportation refers to the movement of people, animals, goods from one location to another through various modes such as cars, trains, airplanes etc.
Imagine transportation as conveyor belts in a factory. Each belt represents different modes - roadways for cars/trucks/buses (belt carrying small boxes), railways for trains (belt carrying larger boxes), airways for planes (belt moving at high speed with packages flying off).
Infrastructure: The basic physical structures needed for an operation or development such as roads, bridges etc., just like how conveyor belts are necessary infrastructure in factories.
Logistics: The detailed coordination of complex operations involving many people, facilities or supplies; similar to managing which box goes on which conveyor belt based on its size and destination.
Public Transit Systems: These are transport systems available for use by general public typically managed by government entities; like a public conveyor belt that everyone can use.
