Definition
Representation refers to elected officials acting on behalf of their constituents within a legislative body. It's how citizens have their views expressed in government decisions.
Analogy
Imagine representation like a school class president who speaks on behalf of all students at school meetings. They take into account everyone's opinions before making decisions or proposals.

Delegate Model Of Representation: This model suggests that representatives should act solely based on what their constituents want regardless if they personally agree with it or not.
