The Soviet Bloc refers to the group of socialist states under the influence or direct control of the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
Think of the Soviet Bloc as a sports team, where all members follow the coach's (Soviet Union) strategies and plans. Just like how a team would work together to win a game, these countries cooperated politically, economically, and militarily under the leadership of their "coach".
Iron Curtain: This term was used to describe the political, military, and ideological barrier established between Western Europe and communist territories during the Cold War.
