Frequency

Definition

Frequency refers to the number of cycles or oscillations of a wave that occur in one second. It is measured in hertz (Hz).

Analogy

Imagine you are at a concert and the band is playing their music. The frequency would be how many times the lead singer jumps up and down on stage in one minute. If they jump up and down 60 times, then the frequency would be 60 Hz.
