Radians

Definition

Radians are a unit of measurement for angles, where one radian is equal to the angle subtended at the center of a circle by an arc that is equal in length to the radius of the circle. In other words, radians measure how much of a full circle an angle covers.

Analogy

Imagine you have a pizza and you want to know how many slices it has. Instead of counting the number of slices, you measure the angle between two adjacent slices using radians. One radian would be equivalent to having a slice that spans from the center of the pizza to its crust.
