Definition
Addition refers to the action of including something extra or supplementary to what already exists. In writing, it indicates introducing new information that supports or enhances previous points.
Analogy
Imagine you are building an ice cream sundae by adding different toppings on top of each other one by one. Each additional topping brings more flavor and richness to the overall dessert - similarly, adding information in your writing enhances its depth and effectiveness.
