Dark Money: Political spending by nonprofits that do not have to disclose their donors publicly. This allows for anonymous influence in political campaigns.
Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA): Also known as the McCain-Feingold Act, this was a campaign finance law passed in 2002 that aimed to regulate the influence of money in politics. It was partially overturned by the Citizens United ruling.
