Definition

Subatomic particles are particles smaller than an atom. They include protons, neutrons, and electrons which make up atoms.

Analogy

Imagine you're building a Lego model - each individual piece would be like a subatomic particle. When they come together in specific ways, they form larger structures (atoms).
