Rusting

Definition

Rusting is an oxidation process where iron reacts with water and oxygen over time, forming rust.

Analogy

Consider rusting like aging for metal objects. Just as humans age when exposed to life's elements over time, metals like iron age too when exposed to water and oxygen, resulting in rust.
