Molality

Definition

Molality is a measure of the concentration of a solute in a solution, expressed as the number of moles of solute per kilogram of solvent.

Analogy

Imagine you're making lemonade. The amount of lemon juice (solute) you add to the water (solvent) determines how strong or weak your lemonade tastes. If you add one cup (mole) of lemon juice to every liter (kilogram) of water, that's your molality.
