Definition
Kp represents the pressure-based equilibrium constant. It uses partial pressures (usually in atmospheres) for calculation and applies when gases are involved in the reaction.
This is the pressure that would be exerted by one gas if it alone occupied the entire volume.
Dalton's Law: This law states that total pressure exerted by mixture of non-reacting gases can be calculated as sum of partial pressures of individual gases.
