Air is an example of a gas solution made up mostly of nitrogen and oxygen along with small amounts other gases like argon and carbon dioxide.

Analogy

Consider air as the ultimate potluck dinner. Nitrogen brings the most food (since it makes up about 78% of air), oxygen brings less but still quite substantial amount (about 21%), and the other gases bring just a little bit to add some extra flavor.
