Rhetorical Questions

Definition

Rhetorical questions are questions asked not to elicit an answer but to make a point or persuade the audience. They engage readers by encouraging them to think critically about the topic being discussed.

Analogy

Imagine rhetorical questions as hooks on a fishing line. Just as hooks grab onto fish and keep them engaged, rhetorical questions hook readers' attention and keep them thinking about the topic at hand.
