Coos

The Coos are a Native American tribe from the Pacific Northwest, specifically in what is now Oregon. They traditionally lived along the Coos River and South Slough of Coos Bay.

Analogy

Think of the Coos like a group of expert fishermen who know their local river better than anyone else. They've learned how to use every resource available to them in their specific environment, just like you might become an expert at navigating your high school after attending for a few years.
