Spiritual values relate to the connection between humans and something greater than themselves. They involve beliefs about purpose, meaning, transcendence, morality, ethics, and interconnectedness with nature.
Spiritual values are like a deep-rooted tree connecting its branches to the sky. Just as a tree symbolizes strength while reaching towards something beyond itself (the sky), spiritual values involve seeking meaning beyond our individual existence through beliefs in higher powers or forces.
Transcendence: Transcendence refers to going beyond ordinary limits or surpassing physical boundaries to connect with something greater spiritually.
Ethics: Ethics encompasses moral principles that guide human behavior based on concepts of right versus wrong or good versus bad.
Interconnectedness: Interconnectedness recognizes that all living beings are connected within ecosystems or larger systems on Earth; it emphasizes the interdependence between humans and nature.
