Industrialization, c. 1750 - c.1900

Industrialization fundamentally changed world history, but it built on trends from the previous period. Colonialism and intensifying agriculture and manufacturing in Britain set the stage for the first industrial revolution. This revolution built on and further developed capitalist economics. Capitalism, in turn, created new social classes. All of these developments can be discussed while practicing analyzing documents and using them as evidence, the key skills on the AP World History Exam.
