Definition

A sequence is a list of numbers arranged in a specific order, while a series is the sum of the terms in a sequence.

Analogy

Think of a sequence as a playlist on your favorite music streaming platform, where each song represents a term in the sequence. The series would then be the total duration of all the songs combined.

Arithmetic Sequence: A sequence where each term is obtained by adding or subtracting a constant value from the previous term.
