For most of us, a high stakes challenge like the college admissions process causes a great deal of stress and anxiety. Stress and anxiety make us do all sorts of wacky things, like staying up all night to work, procrastinating, denying, overthinking, comparing ourselves to others, picking fights, and the list goes on. These stress responses are totally normal, but while we think our all-nighters are helping us write the best applications that will get us into the best schools, they aren’t!
