Definition
Lead refers to a heavy, malleable, bluish-gray metallic element that is toxic when ingested or inhaled. It has been used historically in various applications such as pipes, paint, batteries, and ammunition.
Analogy
Think of lead as the villain in a comic book who tries to harm people. Just like how the villain poses dangers and threats to superheroes and civilians in the story, lead is harmful when it enters our bodies through ingestion or inhalation.
