Sexual arousal is the physiological and psychological response to sexual stimuli, which can be visual, auditory, or tactile.
Think of sexual arousal like a car engine. Just as an engine needs fuel and ignition to start running, sexual arousal requires certain stimuli (fuel) and our body's response (ignition) to get going.
Libido: This refers to one's overall sexual drive or desire for sexual activity. It varies from person to person and can be influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors.
Erogenous Zones: These are areas of the human body that have heightened sensitivity and can cause a sexual response when stimulated.
Sexual Orientation: This term refers to an enduring pattern of emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions to men, women, both genders or none. It also relates to a person's sense of personal and social identity based on those attractions.
