Eastern Hemisphere
Definition
The Eastern Hemisphere is a geographical term for the half of Earth which is east of the prime meridian (which crosses Greenwich, London, UK) and west of the antimeridian. It includes Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Analogy
If you think about your school as the world, then imagine that there's an imaginary line running through it from north to south. Everything on one side of that line (like classrooms or playgrounds) can be considered as part of the 'Eastern Hemisphere'.

Prime Meridian: This is a planet's meridian adopted as zero degrees longitude, from which all other longitudes are calculated.
