Reducing Agents
Definition
Reducing agents are substances that donate electrons during a chemical reaction leading to the reduction of another substance.
Analogy
Consider reducing agents as generous friends who always lend you stuff (in this case, electrons). The more they can give away, the stronger reducing agents they are.
