Conditioned Stimulus (CS): A formerly neutral stimulus that, after being paired with an unconditioned stimulus, triggers a conditioned response as a result of the association.
Conditioned Response (CR): The learned response to a conditioned stimulus that occurs after conditioning has taken place.
