Energy Consumption

Definition

Energy consumption refers to the amount of energy used by individuals, organizations, or systems within a given period. It can include electricity usage, fuel consumption, and other forms of energy utilization.

Analogy

Think about your phone battery as your energy consumption. When you use apps and keep your screen brightness high all day long without charging it back up, your battery will eventually drain completely. Similarly, if we constantly use energy without considering conservation methods like turning off lights when not needed or using energy-efficient appliances, our overall energy consumption will be higher.
