Magnetization refers to the process by which an object becomes magnetized or acquires magnetic properties. It occurs when the magnetic domains within the object align in a specific direction, resulting in a net magnetic field.
The region around a magnet or current-carrying wire where magnetic forces can be detected.
Magnetic Domain: A small region within a material where atomic magnets are aligned in the same direction.
Permanent Magnet: An object that retains its magnetization even after the external magnetic field is removed.
