Bulbourethral glands

Definition

Bulbourethral glands, also known as Cowper's glands, are small glands located on either side of the urethra in males that produce a pre-ejaculate fluid. This fluid helps to lubricate and neutralize the acidity of the urethra before ejaculation occurs.
