The V-6/5 chord is a first inversion dominant seventh chord. It consists of the root, third, fifth, and sixth scale degree of the key.
Root position triad: A triad with the root as the lowest note.
First inversion triad: A triad with the third as the lowest note.
Dominant seventh chord: A four-note chord consisting of a major triad and a minor seventh above the root.
