A second inversion triad is a chord in which both the third and fifth of the chord are above its root note.
Root Position Triad: A root position triad is a chord where the root note is in the bass position.
First Inversion Triad: A first inversion triad is a chord where the third of the chord is in the bass position.
Harmonic Progression: The movement from one harmony to another, often creating tension and resolution.
