BMI is a measure of body fat based on an individual's weight and height. It is calculated by dividing a person's weight in kilograms by the square of their height in meters.
Obesity: A medical condition characterized by excessive body fat accumulation, often indicated by a high BMI.
Underweight: Having a lower than normal body weight for one's height, which can be determined using BMI.
Overweight: Having a higher than normal body weight for one's height, which can be determined using BMI.
