Carbon Footprint
Definition
Carbon footprint refers to the total amount of greenhouse gases (primarily carbon dioxide) emitted directly or indirectly by an individual, organization, or product throughout its lifecycle. It measures the impact of human activities on climate change.
Analogy
Imagine your carbon footprint as a trail left behind wherever you go. Every step you take contributes to this trail, representing your emissions. The longer the trail, the larger your carbon footprint and environmental impact.
