# Use Fiveable in a supported browser

## Quick answer

Use the current version of Chrome or Safari for the Teacher Workspace, Print center, Google handoffs, and browser printing. Keep cookies and JavaScript enabled for fiveable.me. Leave an in-app browser when a sign-in, export, or print dialog does not open.

## What to do

1. **Update the browser**: Install the latest available Chrome or Safari update for the device.

2. **Open Fiveable directly**: Copy the URL into the browser instead of opening it inside an email or social app.

3. **Allow required browser features**: Allow cookies and JavaScript for sign-in. Allow a pop-up when you intentionally start a Google export, Classroom handoff, or print action.

4. **Retry the exact action**: Return to the same assignment or printable and try once more. Do not create a duplicate grading session unless the original is unavailable.

## If something is not working

### A school-managed browser blocks the action.

Ask the school technology team whether fiveable.me, Google sign-in, and browser pop-ups are allowed. Share the exact blocked URL or message.

### The feature works in one browser only.

Disable privacy or content-blocking extensions for fiveable.me in the failing browser, then retry. Report the browser version if the difference remains.
