# Finish work in the older FRQ grading workspace

## Quick answer

Open /frq/grading and select the existing session from your history. Review and approve the student responses, then use Export for the available CSV, Google Sheets, or PDF options. Start new grading work from Import and grade in the Teacher Workspace.

## What to do

1. **Open the older workspace**: Open the [older FRQ grading workspace](/frq/grading) and sign in with the account that created the session.

2. **Select the session**: Use the history list to open the class set you need to finish.

3. **Review the responses**: Open each student response, check the point-by-point result against the work, adjust when needed, and approve it.

4. **Export the approved work**: Open Export and choose Download CSV, Open in Google Sheets, or Generate PDF Handouts when that option fits your next step.

5. **Use the Teacher Workspace next time**: For a new class set, select [Import and grade](/assignments/import). The work will appear with your other assignments and review tasks.

## Good to know

- Do not recreate an unfinished session only to move it. Finish the existing set where it already lives.

## If something is not working

### The session does not appear in history.

Confirm that you are signed in with the Fiveable account that created it. Search the Teacher Workspace too, because newer imported sessions appear in Assignments and Inbox.

### An export option is unavailable.

Approve every response required by the session, then open Export again.
