# Review, approve, and export imported grades

## Quick answer

Open the imported grading session from Assignments or Inbox. Select Review for a response, inspect the scoring, make any available adjustment, and approve it. When the set is ready, use Export; imported work is exported rather than handed back through a Fiveable student assignment link.

## What to do

1. **Open the imported session**: Find it in Assignments, or use Needs review in [Inbox](/assignments/inbox).

2. **Review the first score**: Read the student's response and the point-by-point grading detail. Confirm that the prompt, question type, and point total match the work.

3. **Approve or adjust**: Use the available score controls to record your final judgment. Select Approve & next to save and move through the class set.

4. **Use bulk approval carefully**: Approve all graded imports is available for imported AI-graded work. Use it only after sampling enough responses to trust the remaining first scores for this prompt.

5. **Export the set**: Open Ready to return or export in Inbox and select Export, or use the export action inside the session.

## If something is not working

### Export is not available yet.

Return to Needs review and approve every required response. The session moves to export when the review state is complete.

### The wrong rubric was used.

Stop reviewing and verify Subject & question type and The prompt. Start a corrected session if those inputs do not match the student work.
