# Set up and check your teacher account

## Quick answer

Open Account and start on Billing. Under Account info, confirm name, email, and login. Use Edit to correct the name or email, then open the Teacher Workspace at /assignments to confirm you are using the intended teacher account.

## What to do

1. **Open Account**: Use the account menu, or open [Account](/account) directly.

2. **Check Account info**: Review name, email, and login. Login may show Email/password, Google (no password set), or Email + Google.

3. **Edit when needed**: Select Edit, update Name or Email, and select Save. A Google-only account can also show After saving, link a different Google account.

4. **Check access**: Review the subscription in Billing, then open /assignments and /printables to confirm the teacher features included with the account.

## If something is not working

### The login method is Google (no password set).

You can keep signing in with Google. If you want an email/password option too, open Change Password; the page changes to Create password for a Google-only account.

### The subscription is on a different email.

Sign in with that email first. Contact support before changing account email if you are unsure which account owns teacher work or billing history.
