# Change the Google account connected to Fiveable

## Quick answer

For a Google-only login, open Account > Billing, select Edit under Account info, update Email, and choose After saving, link a different Google account. For Drive or Classroom imports, open Integrations, disconnect the service, then reconnect with the correct Google account.

## What to do

1. **Decide what needs to change**: Your Fiveable login and your Google Drive or Google Classroom integrations are related but separate. Change only the connection that is wrong.

2. **Relink a Google-only login**: In [Billing](/account?tab=billing), select Edit under Account info. Update Email, choose After saving, link a different Google account, and select Save. Finish the switch on Google's screen.

3. **Reconnect an import integration**: Open [Integrations](/account?tab=integrations), find Google Drive or Google Classroom, and disconnect it. Return to Grade work and reconnect with the account that owns the files or classes.

4. **Verify the account**: Return to Account info and Integrations. Confirm the intended email and connection before importing student work.

## Good to know

- If Account info shows Email + Google, switching the Google login is not available through the self-serve relink. Contact support for help.

## If something is not working

### Google keeps choosing the old account.

Sign out of the old Google account in that browser or use Google's account chooser, then begin the relink or integration connection again.

### I am worried about losing access.

A Google-only relink keeps the current Google login working until the replacement sign-in finishes. Contact support before changing anything if the account owns active classes you cannot recreate.
