# Right-Hand Rule — AP Physics C: E&M Definition & Guide

## Definition

The Right-Hand Rule is a method used to determine the direction of a magnetic field, current, or force in relation to each other. It states that if you point your thumb in the direction of the current, and curl your fingers around it, your fingers will point in the direction of the magnetic field.
