## Question Types

- **Short Answer (Vergil or Pliny)** (Question 1): 15 suggested minutes; up to 8 parts; stimulus material (Latin passage)
- **Translation (Vergil or Pliny)** (Question 2): 15 suggested minutes; up to 1 part; stimulus material (Latin passage)
- **Short Essay (Vergil or Pliny)** (Question 3): 25 suggested minutes; up to 2 parts; stimulus material (Latin passage)
- **Project Prose Passage Short Essay** (Question 4): 30 suggested minutes; up to 2 parts; stimulus material (Latin prose passage)
- **Project Poetry Passage Short Essay** (Question 5): 30 suggested minutes; up to 2 parts; stimulus material (Latin poetry passage)

## Exam Conditions

- Total free-response section time: 115 minutes
- Calculator permitted: no
- Reference sheet provided: no
- Expected response format: Short answers, translation, and passage-based essays
