The domain of a function refers to all the possible input values or x-values for which the function is defined. The range of a function refers to all the possible output values or y-values that the function can produce.
Function: A relation between two sets where each input value has exactly one output value.
Input/Output: Input refers to the independent variable (x-value) in a function, while output refers to the dependent variable (y-value).
Interval Notation: A way to represent domains and ranges using brackets and parentheses. For example, [0, 5) represents all real numbers from 0 up to but not including 5.
