Anti-imperial movements are organized efforts opposing imperialism, which is the policy or ideology of extending a nation's rule over foreign nations, often by military force or by gaining political and economic control.
Decolonization: This is the process by which colonies become independent from colonial powers - it's like when you finally move out of your parents' house and start living independently.
Nationalism: This is an ideology that emphasizes loyalty, devotion, or allegiance to a nation or nation-state - it's akin to being part of a sports team and having intense loyalty towards your team.
Revolution: This refers to forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system - imagine students deciding they've had enough and staging an uprising against school rules they deem unfair.
