Motecuhzoma (also spelled Moctezuma) was the Aztec emperor who ruled during the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors led by Hernán Cortés. He is a significant historical figure in Mexican history.

Tenochtitlan: Tenochtitlan was the capital city of the Aztec Empire, which is now present-day Mexico City.
Hernán Cortés: Hernán Cortés was a Spanish conquistador who led an expedition that caused the fall of the Aztec Empire and brought about Spanish colonization in Mexico.
