Las sociedades en contacto refers to the concept of different societies coming into contact with one another and influencing each other's cultures through interactions such as trade, colonization, migration, or conquest.
Cultural Exchange: The sharing of ideas, customs, traditions, and practices between different cultures.
Assimilation: The process by which individuals or groups adopt the cultural traits of another society.
Colonialism: The practice of establishing political control over another country or territory for economic exploitation or settlement.
